Now “This” Is Multi-Generational
Rejoice with me.

I was not able to get a podcast off this week because my wife and I have been preparing for our third son’s graduation from Graduate School.
Today we gather with several other family members to thank God for His faithfulness in calling our son to pastoral ministry. He graduated this morning from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity degree, his MDiv. This prepares him for stepping into God’s call on his life to become a parish Pastor like his father and his grandfather.
So, rejoice with me. Rejoice with us. Our family is celebrating today the unending love of our Father in heaven, who calls, equips and deploys servants into the harvest. After all, when Jesus sends out his workers, he says,
…the harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves.
Luke 10:2-3 NLT
Therefore, I say again, rejoice with us! Pray for Phil and all his need in undertaking the vocational calling that lies ahead for him. He will need our prayers and support. He will also need to be reminded at times that God is faithful. Jesus will never leave or forsake Phil in all his serving.
Thank you Jesus!
Peace

Congratulations to Phil! I know you and Sue are very proud. I’m looking forward to him preaching at Redeemer.
Congratulations and so much love to Phil and the whole family!
